Heifer International, last year I sent a ton of bees to villages. I did it for the comedy of it and the charity. The teach people how to care for their donation animals and make money or live off them. I laughed giddily (maniacally)as I imagined them simply getting a package FULL OF BEES in the mail. But thankfully for them (not my sense of humor) that isn't the case!

By the way, everytime I hit your page the music scares me half to death!

Even when the cancer looks like it's getting the best of him he comes through and fights it off. He's such a brave little boy. NO CHILD should ever have to deal with Cancer (or adult either!).

The USO for me- the USO does such wonderful things for military members of all ranks and their families. From free lounges in the airports to shows for deployed troops and Sesame Street for their families at home, that's where our charity money goes every year. I have to admit I'm a military member as is my husband, and can't say just how appreciative I've been at times for the USO. One of my best memories ever was sitting in the desert watching some USO-brought comedians do a comedy show on the back of a flatbed truck with a few speakers on a 115-degree night. After being there that long, you can't imagine how wonderful a little break of comedy was. And the Talk, Listen Connect series for the children of servicemembers deployed and wounded is a wonderful project. Even the airport lounges- young kids on their way to their first assignments who just want a place to sit for a few minutes and have a soda free of charge (since they're also broke) is fantastic. So, I feel passionate about the USO- thank you USO volunteers!
