New Child Safety Product! CoverPlug {Giveaway}

Have you seen the new COVERPLUGS? These have to be one of the best products I've seen in LONG time! They are so simple to install and can be painted to match any wall!! When my kids were younger they were always able to pull the small covers off the plugs so we were always concerned that they would stick something in the outlet! That is so not the case with these COVERPLUGS!! We challenged our four year old to pull it off and she wasn't able to get it off!!

WITHOUT COVERPLUGS:
WITH COVERPLUGS!!!!!!!!!

With all of the safety concerns these days, knowing that your electrical plugs are covered is a huge relief as a parent. We would highly recommend this great product to anyone that has young children and even has young children that visit their house!

More Info from their site:

The coverPlug is a molded, paintable panel that "plugs" into an electrical outlet. It is held securely in place by posts on the back that align with the ground openings. The paintable coverPlug is one product with two uses: it puts physical and visual barrier between your family and electrical receptacles, and it covers unsightly outlets that stand out from the walls. It is a durable, molded panel that can be painted for an exact match of your walls, then pressed into place over the faceplate. No tools needed. For a safer home and seamless walls.

Three EASY Steps:
Paint It
Use the same paint used on the surrounding walls for an exact match. The coverPlug is made of a material that is paintable.
Press It Into Place

The posts on the back of the coverPlug align with the ground openings of a double outlet. No tools are necessary, just press it firmly into place. Remove the coverPlug if the outlet is needed and repaint/re-use as your decor changes.
Outlets Disappear
The entire outlet is covered and, when painted, the coverPlug will blend perfectly with the surrounding wall. Removable by an adult, but secure enough that a child will not be able to pull it out. By creating seamless walls, the coverPlug provides a visual and physical barrier to the outlet.

Get yours today from any of these great retailers!!

& I like that they're paintable. Normally if you paint over them it peels off...

We REALLY need these as we're preparing for adoption & homestudies require these.

Thanks!

I like the fact that these plug right in over the existing outlets-easy to remove for parents, but hard for the little ones and no temptation existing to stick things in those little holes!

I think the coverplug is far more attractive than the outlet so even if someone didn't have little ones, the plug just makes the space look and flow better.

I have never seen these before, they look great the kids will never know that there are plugs in the wall. Like the ones now they know its something so they pick at them.
Thanks

I think the fact they are paintable is excellent,so babies don't feel attreated to them as much and to stop little fingers going for the holes.

I think they are great, babies just want to try and pull out traditional socket protectors.

I love that they can fit right in with the decor by painting over them, I might just keep mine on long after the kids have moved out!

So simple, yet so safe. I hate the other kind because I have had the progs break off inside the plug. And those are very difficult to remove.

I really like the fact they cover the entire outlet.

I like these becasue they are paintable Also these are large enough you dont have to wonder you know at an instant that your outlet is covered and your child protected from a potential hazard

I like that they look like nothing--not as ugly as the other plug covers. It is also awesome that you can paint them to match the wall. Very cool giveaway. We're needing to baby proof our house as we just had a son 7 weeks ago!!

Truthfully, I think most babyproofing is silly (toilet locks, really?), they just need to be taught that certain things are no-no's. However, it's best not to mess around when electricity is involved, so my outlets will be covered until my children know better.
What I like the most about these covers is that they can be painted to match the walls, so it won't even occur to most kids that there is even an outlet there!!

My favorite part is that it's paintable, so the outlet doesn't stick out like a sore thumb!
