Clorox Classroom Clean-Up Event

Did you know that your child's desk can have up to 400 time more bacteria than the bathroom toilet seat?
The following three pictures are of items that were taken from ONE of my 5th grade student's desk!

Did you also know that children touch up to 300 surfaces in only 30 minutes - water fountains, pencil sharpeners, keyboards, desks and door knobs?
Bacteria can be found all over the classroom!

Did you realize that the majority of teachers have to buy their own cleaning supplies (56%)?

Keeping my classroom clean and my students healthy is a real challenge. Schools need help to fight germs that cause colds and flu and now is the time to attack!

Thanks to Mom Select and Clorox we were given the opportunity to host a Clorox Classroom Clean-Up Event! We enjoyed the kits and the students learned what they can do to help reduce the spread of germs in classrooms this flu season.

We received a "Clorox Classroom Clean-up kit" to use during this event.

The Clorox Classroom Clean-up Kit included:
Teacher Resources
Games and activities to make cleaning fun
Trusted Clorox Disinfecting products:
Disinfecting Wipes:
If you've got a busy house, you know that spills and messes happen all the time. Clorox® Disinfecting Wipes are the quick and easy way to clean and disinfect anytime and anywhere.* Pre-moistened with cleaners and disinfectants, these handy household wipes are ready to use. Just wipe and let sit for 30 seconds to sanitize or 4 minutes to disinfect.* Then toss and you're done.
It is a convenient way to sanitize. It's gentle enough to use on hard, nonporous surfaces around kids and food, yet powerful enough to kill 99.9% of common household bacteria, E. coli, Salmonella, Staphylococcus (Staph) and Streptococcus (Strep.)*.
*when used as directed on hard, nonporous surfaces.
Plus, since it has no harsh fumes and leaves no harmful residue, it needs no wiping or rinsing. It's the perfect daily sanitizing spray to use all over your home, anytime you need it.

Little fingers, lots of sneezes leads to a germ filled classroom! With the fun activities in our kit cleaning and disinfecting has never been less of a chore! Be sure to check out the Clean up the Classroom website to find out ways you can help clean up your child's classroom!

Thanks so much to my friend Melissa for the pictures!
