The Healthy Schools Campaign is launching a multimedia contest on March 16th, asking for your most vivid school lunch memory, open to students (grades K-12) and adults. Their hope is to make contact with fresh voices who support fresh choices for school lunches, and to support a healthy reauthorization of the Child Nutrition Act in 2009.
Writing (up to 400 words), a photo or image (up to 2MB), or a video (30 seconds-3 minutes long) will be accepted as entries. For students, the prizes will be:
HSC Student winner: A healthy and delicious breakfast from Notables for your entire school.
HSC Student Image winner: A healthy and delicious breakfast from Notables for your entire class, plus their image printed on thousands of Notables bags around the U.S. (For more info on Notables, go here: http://www.notables.com/NS/index.html)
For adults, the prize package is a Panini Party in a Box, sponsored by T-Fal and Applegate Farms:
