EasyDaysies {Giveaway}

Easy Daysies is an amazing and versatile magnetic daily schedule for kids made 100% in Canada. (The creator packages each and every kit herself at her kitchen table in Maple Ridge, British Columbia!)

As a school teacher for ten years she always had parents asking her to create schedules for them at home (similar to the one she had in the front of her classroom) to help them with routines at home. Routines help kids to be more cooperative, to feel safe and be confident, all because they know what is going to happen next. The goal of Easy Daysies is to help children have easier days --- hence, the name Easy Daysies!

The idea for marketing Easy Daysies came about when she was pregnant with her second and after two years of lots of thinking, prototypes, and saving, Easy Daysies was launched about two days after her third child was born (September 2008)!

The goal of Easy Daysies is to help kids have easier days. I could really see these helping with the everyday struggles some of my parents of children with special needs have. Easy Daysies could be a great resource for helping these kids become more independent! Ethan received the Chores and Rewards Kit and Ella received the Every Day Kit to review!

The Every Day Kit:

The Every Day Kit (CDN$17.99) includes 18 amazing, colored, durable magnets (perfect for little hands) that you can use on your fridge, kitchen door, or pocket chart. Use this kit alone or mix and match it with other kits! This is a great basic starter kit that every home should have!Magnets in this kit: Breakfast, Brush Teeth (2), Get Dressed, Pack Backpack, School, Nap Time, Clean Up, Dinner, Bath Time, Bed Time, Wash Hands Hands & Face, Make Bed, Lunch, Snack (Break), Homework, Play/Free Time.

Ella is having so much fun with her kit! She is starting to do these simple tasks without even being asked to!! She loves putting the magnets in order herself because it makes her feel like she has planned her whole day! We totally recommend these great kits!!

The Chores and Rewards Kit:

This popular kit is loved by parents and kids! It can be used alone but it is perfect for mixing into The Every Day Kit. Using a dry erase marker check the white boxes below the task your child completes and reward him or her when all six boxes are checked! The blank magnets in this kit are perfect for helping little ones learn routines and tasks as well. Enjoy using the blanks for tasks like: "Sitting Still and Eating Dinner", "Doing Home Work", "Going To Bed without Complaining", etc.! Includes 9 amazing, colored, durable magnets (perfect for little hands) that you can use on your fridge, kitchen door, or pocket chart. Magnets in this kit: Feed Pet, Clean Bedroom, Clean Bathroom, Do Dishes, Help Set Table, Vacuum, Walk the Dog, two blank magnets for you to fill in.
These are like a competition for Ethan! And of course, he is determined to win! With this great set he knows exactly what is expected of him and we hear much less complaining! I love that not only do the magnets include chores but they also include rewards!

GIVING BACK:
Easy Daysies also tries to help children around the world have easier days. As of January 2009, every purchase of Easy Daysies contributes to the aid of helping children be freed from devastating bondage like slavery and child sex-trade. 5% of the profits of each Easy Daysies kit sold go to International Justice Mission (a Canadian and American Organization).

These great products were recently on Global Noon Hour News in British Columbia (on March 27). The parent-test-panel of Urban Baby & Toddler Magazine loved Easy Daysies and profiled them in their Winter issue! You can also read about it in this article:
