Munchkin Math DVDs {Twitter Giveaway}

Munchkin Math, an educational and engaging DVD program, gives parents a great option for practicing math concepts outside of school. This fun program was created by a teacher and Mom of 3 young boys who understands the importance of everyday learning. Munchkin Math enhances mathematical skills by reinforcing important concepts like counting money and telling time. A product of Standout Math, a math and vocabulary curriculum taught in over 30 states in Elementary schools, Munchkin Math helps children across the country get a head start in school. Targeted at preschool and early-elementary school children, the curriculum uses a unique multi-sensory approach, combining oral, visual, and kinesthetic activities that help kids understand and remember what they learn.

Munchkin Math currently includes three titles, Shapes!, Telling Time!, and Counting Money! each focus on foundational math concepts and use interactive rhymes, chants, and hand movements to keep kids engaged in the lessons.
Thanks to Mom Central, Ella received Shapes! from Munchkin Math to review. While watching this DVD, Ella was able to take a magical journey with Wendy, Zoid and Pent through the wonderful world of Shapes! Ella really does enjoy learning about shapes and math concepts with this DVD. She was able to learn about triangles, octagons, squares, ovals, hexagons, rectangles and many more! Her favorite parts are the interactive chants and rhymes that Wendy uses to teach the correct mathematical names for all of the shapes that in turn will help her understand more complex math concepts. She was also introduced to the concept of 2D and 3D shapes as well as open and closed shapes and how to tell the difference between them. If you want to get your child AHEAD in Math today then we encourage you to pick us these great DVDs!

The Munchkin Math series is now conveniently available at Best Buy, Barnes & Noble, BJ's Wholesale Clubs, and Amazon.com.

Digital Memory sure is becoming cheaper and cheaper and cheaper. I wonder when we will finally reach the rate of 1c to 1 Gig.

I can't wait for the day when I will finally be able to afford a 20 TB hard disk . But for now I guess I will be happy with having a 16 GB Micro SD in my R4i.
