Mad Science KNOW Magazine

Thanks to Mom Central, we were recently given the opportunity to check out some great new magazines! Both of my kids love looking at and reading magazines so we were excited to give them a try. Mad Science, the world's leading science enrichment provider, launched KNOW Magazine, a publication specifically designed to engage and excite children at an age when science proves as important as math, reading and writing.

These educational magazines are geared to children ages 6 to 9, but my 11 year old even found them interesting! Inside each magazine you will find age-appropriate articles, fun science and technology facts, games, puzzles, and experiments.
Some of the topics include:
• dinosaurs and animals from around the world

• the solar system, planets, and stars

• our Earth, climate, and seasons

• technology, then and now

• fascinating scientists, cool facts, latest discoveries, and newest inventions

Ethan is really into the cool facts while Ella totally loves the experiments! I also love the fact these magazines are free of outside advertising! The magazine's educational focus combines learning and entertainment in a way I can feel good about. After my kids enjoy these great magazines I will be taking them to my classroom as a resource for my students, tons of great knowledge can be gain in every issue! We highly recommend that you give these new magazines a try!

I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour campaign by Mom Central on behalf of Mad Science and received the products necessary to facilitate my review. In addition, I received a gift certificate to thank me for taking the time to participate.
