Groovy Ruby is an all original rock band led by 5 girls currently ranging in age from 11-13. Their songs are about friendship, perserverance, & making good choices. Produced in a home studio, Groovy Ruby released its first CD, "Cool Like That" in August 2006! We love to listen to music so were very excited to received a copy of their 2nd CD, "Strong, Lovin', and Fun" (released in August 2008)!! Ella has been dancing around the house to the Groovy Girls since we received it!! She really likes the Too Cool For School song!! These girls are all truly talented and each have an amazing voice. Together they produce amazing music. The music is very upbeat and fun to listen to. Each song makes you want to jump up and dance along. This CD would be the perfect gift for any music lover on your Christmas list!!!
Michelle, Kendall, Jenn, Sydney, and Carly make up the girl band Groovy Ruby!! They are a girl next door kind of band with lyrics that have strong positive messages. Each song on this CD has a special meaning and you can read more about their content here. Maybe a little Jackson 5, Doo-Wop, and some Ramones thrown in there too. Or how about a cross between Hannah Montana and the Jonas Brothers? That might be Groovy Ruby. This all original band sings up on your feet, hooky, catchy, feel good tunes that get kids up and dancing. Led by five tween girls, the band's songs contain messages of friendship, perseverance, and encouragement, amongst other positive themes.
