Halloween Carols CD {GIVEAWAY}

In December we pull out our Christmas CDs, but what do we pull out in October? Cheap, “spooky” sound effects and “The Monster Mash”?

Not anymore!!!

We received the Halloween Carols CD by Kristen Lawrence to review. Kristen writes and performs historically-based Halloween music in the format of Christmas carols. The Halloween Carols are a collection she has written for the purpose of celebrating Halloween and the fall season. They are each based on a bit of Halloween history and lore. To date, she has over 60 carols written and is recording and releasing them in batches of 13.

We love this original CD at our house! I love that we now have an elegant alternative to the traditional sound effect Halloween CDs! This great CD includes music that all ages can enjoy! A Broom With A View is a fascinating CD that we enjoy listening to.

This CD includes:
1 – Mostly Ghostly – Entrance Music (2:20)
2 – A Broom With A View (5:16)
3 – Souling Song – All Hallows Version (7:56)
4 – Souling Song – Samhain Version (7:10)
5 – Dark Glass (5:42)
6 – Cats In The Catacombs (4:19)
7 – Sleeping Dust (“The Death Lullaby”) – Ashes To Ashes Version (5:58)
8 – Flappy Bat (5:10)
9 – Vampire Empire (6:07)
10 – A Broom With A View – Instrumental Version (5:16)
11 – Cats In The Catacombs – Instrumental Version (4:19)
12 – Vampire Empire – Instrumental Version (6:02)
13 – Mostly Ghostly – Exit Music (2:20)

This CD is definitely a must have for the Halloween Season!

I love seeing the excitement in the kids' faces. I love opening up the door, looking at their costumes and giving out candy.

Halloween is so much fun. We always go pumpkin picking in preparation for it. And, of course, decorating the house is a must.

We decorate, we go to a pumpkin farm, we carve the pumpkin, we trick or treat as a family & we share candy :)
